The member area is designed to assist students as they develop through the various stages and roles of Aikido skill development. It is designed to give current and accurate information about expectations and skills required as students progress. Currently there are three different fees. These include class tuition, annual membership fees, and belt testing fees. Class tuition is set by the community education and is paid in four annual terms. These usually are three- ten week terms, with a six week summer term. Call Cottonwood Community Education at 273-2110 for current pricing. July-August classes are held in the park and tuition is paid to Ahsa Aikido. Annual membership fees are collected in the fall for the following year or when a student joins the dojo. They currently run $30 to Seidokan, and $20 to Ahsa Aikido. Belt testing fees are due before or at the time of the test. These can be found on the rank requirement pages. Additional cost to students include the purchase of a gi, patches, hakama, bokken, jo, and attendance at local workshops and Seidokan annual camps. |
